Eastern Arizona College Lady Monsters Advance in NJCAA Tournament

Casper, Wyoming became the battleground for a thrilling opening game in the NJCAA DI National Women's Basketball Tournament, where the #20 Eastern Arizona College Lady Monsters clashed with #13 Pearl River on Tuesday, March 26th.

The Lady Monsters, led by seasoned sophomores Elva Chavez and Gracie Sorensen, each delivering a commanding 16 points. The team's relentless drive propelled them to a 56-45 victory over Pearl River.

The triumph secured the Lady Monsters a coveted spot in the tournament's next round. Their sights are now firmly set on their upcoming challenge against #4 Collins College. Scheduled for Thursday, March 28th, at 11 am.

The game is set to be broadcasted live on ESPN+ and the NJCAA Network. A watch party will be available in room AP118.
