Jolissa Valdez was named ACCAC Week 6 Player of the Week

Valdez struck out 17 batters over 11 innings in a pair of shutouts to help the Gila Monsters to two wins last week. Valdez allowed just two hits and struck out 10 batters in a 12-0 win over GateWay before finishing the week with seven strikeouts in five innings while allowing just a hit in five innings.
