Gameday Results: Baseball & Golf

Split victories and 2nd place for EAC 

In Game 1, our baseball squad secured a solid 10-2 win, showing great teamwork with effective hitting, pitching, and defense. Tripp Schroeder, Jaren Ceasar, and Dominic Palma led the offense with multiple hits, while Ben Staiger pitched well to seal the victory.

However, Game 2 ended in a 5-3 loss despite allowing only two hits. "Mistakes like walks and hit batters cost us dearly, leading to missed opportunities and allowing Paradise Valley to capitalize," says Coach Kimball.

In the South Mountain Golf Tournament, our team finished day two at -9 under par, clinching 2nd place overall. Fernando Jimenez stood out individually, finishing 3rd.

Next up, baseball faces a tough test against Pima, while golf hosts the Mount Graham Tournament on April 8th-9th.
