Final Scores from the Road
Eastern Arizona College faced off against Conference powerhouse Central Arizona College on the road in back-to-back clashes yesterday. Our team endured consecutive losses, falling 0-3 and 0-5 against our conference rivals.
Coach Kimball acknowledged the strength of the opposing pitchers, "They proved to us why they are the best team in the conference. Their pitching staff put together a pretty dominant performance. With that being said I thought our pitching staff stepped up for us only allowing Central to score in the first inning in the first game. Their game 1 starter currently leads the conference in E.R.A. and he was really good."
Looking forward, the team eagerly anticipates returning to our home field. With ten of the twelve conference matchups played away, the upcoming home games provide an opportunity for regrouping. Coach Kimball maintains optimism, emphasizing the team's resilience and determination as they aim for improvement and success in the upcoming season.
Baseball is home on Thursday, February 29th when they will host Fraser Valley.
