Felix Smedjeback Signs with EAC

Eastern Arizona College- Men's Basketball Head Coach Cameron Turner has announced the signing of 6'6 freshman Wing/Forward Felix Smedjeback from Malmo, Sweden.  

"Felix is a gifted two-way player," Coach Turner said, "he will bring grit and toughness to our team. Felix has played at a very high level in Europe, and I have had great success with Scandinavian players in my system. We are excited to get Felix on campus and get to work!".  

Felix was named twice to the Europe Youth Basketball League All-Star team. Smedjeback was top two in scoring for both the EYBL as well as the unofficial Nordic championship.  

"I chose Eastern Arizona because of their belief in my game and me as a person", Smedjeback said, "I feel like the coaches will help me improve my game, as well as give me the exposure I need to get to the next level".  

The 6'6 wing averaged 18.7 ppg, 6.4 rpg, and 1.5 spg, and 1.5 apg. Felix looks to have a major impact in this talented freshman class for the Monsters. Monster Nation let's welcome Felix to the family.
