Men's Soccer Falls to Arizona Western on the Road

Men's soccer traveled to Yuma, Arizona on Saturday, September 15th to battle the NJCAA #2 Arizona Western. The Monsters played a very tight match against Arizona Western going back and forth for the majority of the game. Arizona Western's keeper made two upper 90 saves and a stop on the goal line throughout the match.
Arizona Western broke the tie 30 minutes into the match off a great team play.
"The final 3 goals came from tired legs. Individual mistakes added up and caused us to go deep into the bench. This led to some miscommunication and counterattacks allowing 3 goals in 6 minutes to pull away." says Coach Peters.
The Monsters look to what they can take from the game and build on it for their next contest against Glendale Community College on Tuesday, September 19th. Go Monsters!
