Lady Monsters Beat Central at Home

The Lady Monsters hosted Central Arizona this past weekend in a two-game series on Friday, December 15th, and Saturday, December 16th. 

On the 15th the Lady Monsters played a scrappy game against the Valeros with a win of 69-41. Sophomore Elva Chavez had 17 points and 10 rebounds while Mary Workman helped out with 10 assists. 

They returned Saturday the 16th for another win of 68-56 led by Sophomore Gracie Sorenson with 10 points and 16 rebounds and Sophomore Vitoria Santana with 22 points and 12 rebounds.

The Lady Monsters will keep up the hard work over the break as they head to Tucson for the Aztec Classic hosted by Pima Community College on December 28th-31st.
