Lady Monster's Defeat Glendale on the Road

Eastern Arizona College played Glendale Community College on Tuesday, September 19th at 4:30 pm. The Lady Monsters struggled to find the back of the net during the first half but finally broke through at 9:20 when Emma Lindsey scored with an assist from Nao Yasuda. 

The second half of the game saw most of the scored goals with Maria Antonia Coelho earning her first collegiate hat trick. She was assisted by Grace Abegg, Emma Lindsey, and Maddie Haslam. Emma Lindsey, The Lady Monster's lead scorer had 2 goals and 2 assists. 

"We were able to experiment with players in various positions and able to get everyone playing time which is always fun for the team," says Coach Long. 

The Lady Monsters defeated Glendale 8-0 making them 6-2-2 overall and 4-1 in conference. 

The Lady Monsters travel again this Saturday, September 23rd to battle South Mountain at 9 am.
