Eastern Arizona College volleyball traveled to Prescott, AZ on Wednesday, September 27th to battle Yavapai College. Eastern had to work around missing two starting players due to injuries but the Lady Monsters showed up to win.
The Lady Monsters ran a balanced offense and scored several points from the serving line equalling 11 aces. 5 points came from sophomore Ouincy Cummard and 4 points from Freshman Melanie Merrill.
Olivia Lunt and Melanie Merrill each had 7 kills. Ezgi Kucuk led defensively with 11 digs and Kadence Moore had 8 digs.
"It was a well-rounded and balanced effort from our team," says Coach Kay.
