ACCAC Player of the Week Honors Three Eastern Arizona College Athletes

Three standout Eastern Arizona College athletes have been recognized in the ACCAC Player of the Week awards following impressive performances across multiple sports.

In volleyball, Melanie Merrill led the Gila Monsters with a commanding 13 kills on 24 attempts, hitting at a .500 percentage in a 3-0 sweep over Southern Nevada. Merrill's efforts extended beyond the CSN match, as she also earned the Region Tournament MVP title in the Gila Monsters' victory over Arizona Western, capturing the Region I Championship.

Defensively, Kambria Maloy contributed significantly to the Gila Monsters' success, anchoring the defense with 17 digs in the match against Southern Nevada, helping the team secure a straight-sets win.

Armari Carraway showcased his scoring strength in men's basketball by netting 29 points across two victories. He opened the week with 10 points and six assists in the Gila Monsters' win over Ranger College and capped off the weekend by scoring 19 points in the team's triumph over Western Texas.
