NJCAA Week 13 Rankings

Eastern Arizona College's athletic programs continue to gain national recognition as we see three teams ranked in the latest NJCAA Division I rankings released for Week 13.

The EAC women's basketball team held on to #17 after a 5-game winning streak. They beat Central Arizona College on the road 70-48 and Dream City Prep at home 111-35. With the wins, the Gila Monsters improved to an impressive 22-6 overall record and 12-4 in conference play. Their strong performance has them in a prime position to push for a top finish in conference standings and a postseason run.

Meanwhile, the EAC men's basketball team continues to move up the national rankings, landing at #17 following two more wins putting them on an 11-game winning streak. The Gila Monsters boast a 26-3 overall record and a 15-2 conference record, securing the #1 seed in the regional playoffs and earning them back-to-back ACCAC Regular Season Championship titles. They will host the Region I Semifinal game on March 6, with game time to be determined.

Basketball will hit the road for a conference matchup against the College of Southern Nevada on Wednesday, February 26.  

Men's Golf continues to hold at #20. They are currently participating in the Estrella Mountain Community Tournament at Sundance Golf Course on February 24 and 25.
