Eastern Arizona Basketball Teams Dominate Season Finale, Prepare for Playoff Battles at Home

Eastern Arizona College's men's and women's basketball teams closed out their regular seasons in dominant fashion, securing big wins against the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) in Las Vegas and setting the stage for exciting playoff matchups on their home court.

The women's basketball team cruised to a 72-50 victory over CSN, extending their winning streak to five games. With this win, the Gila Monsters finished the regular season with an impressive 23-6 overall record and a 13-4 conference record. Their outstanding performance secured them the #2 seed in the ACCAC DI playoffs, and they will host Cochise College in the semifinal round on March 8. Game time is yet to be determined, but fans can expect an intense battle as EAC looks to advance to the championship game.

On the men's side, Eastern Arizona capped off their season with a commanding 89-54 win over CSN, extending their winning streak to 12 games. The Gila Monsters had already clinched the ACCAC DI Regular Season Championship prior to the game, finishing with a stellar 27-3 overall record and a dominant 16-2 mark in conference play. They now turn their focus to the postseason, where they will host College of Southern Nevada in the Region I semifinal on March 6 at 7 p.m.
