Eastern Arizona College Baseball and Golf Teams Shine in Recent Competitions

Eastern Arizona College's baseball team delivered a thrilling comeback victory against Fraser Valley on Tuesday, February 25. Down in the final inning, Andrew Lee sealed the win with a dramatic three-run home run, walking it off 11-10. With momentum on their side, the Gila Monsters are set to host Yavapai at home this Friday at 2 p.m., followed by a doubleheader on Saturday. Currently, they are in a three-way tie for second place in the ACCAC Baseball DI Standings with a 7-5 record.

Meanwhile, the EAC golf team showcased their skills at the Estrella Mountain Community College Invitational on February 24-25, securing a strong third-place finish. Sophomore Adrian Ray and freshman Dharit Iemkanitchat tied for fifth place overall, adding to the team's impressive performance. The Monsters are currently ranked #21 in the NJCAA DI Rankings. Their next challenge awaits at the Glendale Community College tournament, held at Union Hills Golf Club on Monday, March 10.
