Bio

Christopher Corona is going into his 5^th year of coaching here at Eastern Arizona College. He spent his first three years as a Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach and will be entering his second year as the Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach. He has served a pivotal role in two Region 1 championship teams (Men’s 2020, Women’s 2023) and in the development of many EAC graduates moving on to play at a higher level.

Coach Corona and Coach DePaulo look to build on their 29-1 season from last year and plan to add their second Region Championship and National Tournament appearance together this season.

Before coaching at Eastern Arizona College, Christopher graduated from the local Duncan High School where he lettered in 5 different sports (Basketball, Football, Baseball, Tennis, Golf). He then spent one year playing basketball here at EA for Coach Leitzke before serving a mission for his church.

Christopher holds a Bachelor Degree in Sports Psychology from Grand Canyon University.
