Bio
Conrad Cabezas began coaching at EAC in fall 2020, bringing over 21 years of playing experience to his role. Currently pursuing a BA in Golf Management at Kieser University, Cabezas is also enrolled in the PGA certification course.
Prior to joining EAC, Cabezas earned AS and BS degrees in Sports and Health Science from the University of Utah. He holds certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). His previous roles include working as a lead trainer at Recharge Sports Rehabilitation and serving as a paid part-time intern for the Real Salt Lake Soccer Club.
Originally from Utah, Cabezas excelled in baseball, football, and golf before focusing on hockey. He played his Junior A’s hockey in Canada and later in the minor league for four seasons.
Cabezas served in the Army for 14 years until he was medically retired due to combat-related injuries sustained during deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan in 2006 and 2011.
As Head Golf Coach at EAC, Cabezas led the team to significant success in the 23-24 season, earning the ACCAC Head Coach of the Year award. The team won the ACCAC Conference title, secured the Region I Championship, West District Championship, and finished 13th in the NJCAA National Championship. Several of his players received All-Conference and All-Region honors, as well as NJCAA Ping DI All-Region recognition. The team was also awarded the NJCAA National Tournament Sportsmanship Award.
Additionally, Cabezas served as the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at EAC, 2023-24.
