
Eastern Arizona Advances to Region I Final with Dominant Win Over Southern Nevada
THATCHER, Ariz. – The Eastern Arizona College men's basketball team took one step closer to a championship after securing an 84-61 victory over the College of Southern Nevada in the Region I Division I Semifinal on February 6, 2025. The Monsters defended their home court in Thatcher, jumping out to a commanding 41-28 lead at halftime and fending off a second-half push from CSN before pulling away for the decisive win.
Tarrance Warren led the offensive charge with 15 points, while JT Elder and Kahu Treacher each contributed 13 points and eight rebounds. Amari Carraway played a crucial role in the victory, tallying 14 points and eight assists to help guide the Monsters to their 28th win of the season.
With the victory, Eastern Arizona improves to 28-3 overall and earns the right to host the Region I Final against Arizona Western on Saturday, March 8, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the championship matchup are available for $10 per person, and fans unable to attend can watch the game live at www.eacmonsters.com.
