Eastern Arizona Men's Golf Team Narrowly Misses Victory at Chandler-Gilbert Fall Shootout

The Eastern Arizona College (EAC) men's golf team faced a tough finish at the Chandler-Gilbert Fall Shootout, despite holding a 3-stroke lead after the first day of competition. In a close contest, Ottawa University Arizona (NAIA) staged a late comeback to win by just one stroke, leaving EAC to settle for a hard-fought second place.

Sophomore Fernando Jimenez was a standout performer, claiming the overall men's medalist title.
