Eastern Arizona Men’s Golf Finishes 12th at NJCAA National Preview

The Eastern Arizona College Men's Golf Team recently returned from Newton, Kansas, where they competed in the NJCAA National Preview from October 20-26. The team finished 12th overall, holding their own against strong national competition.

Sophomore Fernando Jimenez led the Gila Monsters, securing a 15th-place finish individually. Known for his steady play, Jimenez was instrumental in keeping Eastern Arizona competitive throughout the tournament.

Head Coach Conrado Cabezas praised the team's effort. "Facing some of the best teams in the country is always a challenge, but we're proud of how our players performed and look forward to the rest of our season," he said.

The Gila Monsters are now back home and preparing for the upcoming match at Mesa Community College on November 4.
