Robert “Bobby" Peters comes to Eastern Arizona College after 4 years coaching women’s soccer at Cochise College. Peters was hired in July 2022 to help build both the men’s and women’s soccer programs. In December 2022 Peters became the first Men’s Soccer Coach upon the hiring of Head Women’s Soccer Coach Charles Long.  

Coach Peters has been coaching in the NJCAA and NAIA since 2006. He holds multiple coaching awards for both men’s and women’s soccer having received the MCCAC and ACCAC Coach of the Year along with being named NAIA Regional Staff of the Year while assisting men’s soccer at Missouri Valley College.  

 “The vision of the school, the family-friendly environment, and Graham County’s love of soccer make EAC an exciting athletic program to be a part of,” said Peters.

While at Cochise College, Peters was able to guide the Lady Apaches to their first-ever Conference and Regional Championships. He coached a three-time ACCAC Player of the Year and had numerous other ladies received All-Region and All-Conference honors. Coach Peters has a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration from Missouri Valley College and a Masters in Sports Management from Missouri Baptist University.

Bobby Peters brings with him his wife Tracee and three daughters Chloe, Bailey, and Charlotte.
