Eastern Arizona College Women’s Basketball Goes Undefeated at CSN Invitational

The Eastern Arizona College women's basketball team successfully showed at the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) Holiday Basketball Invitational in North Las Vegas, winning all three games from December 16 to 18, 2024.

Game 1: Eastern Arizona 65, Utah State Eastern 53
Eastern Arizona opened the tournament with a 65-53 win over Utah State Eastern. Ashlynn Chlarson, a forward from Pima, recorded a double-double with 21 points and 19 rebounds. Sarah Deng contributed 15 points and 4 rebounds to help secure the victory.

Game 2: Eastern Arizona 67, Colorado Northwestern 35
The Monsters followed up with a 67-35 win against Colorado Northwestern Community College. Chlarson led the team again with 13 points and 18 rebounds, as Eastern Arizona's defense limited their opponents' scoring opportunities throughout the game.

Game 3: Eastern Arizona 65, Gillette College 43
In the final game of the tournament, Eastern Arizona defeated Gillette College 65-43. Chlarson continued her consistent play with 14 points and 13 rebounds, while Deng added 15 points.

Chlarson was a key contributor throughout the tournament, averaging 16 points and 16.7 rebounds per game.
