Cheer Recruit Information

Welcome to the EAC Cheer and Pom Team!

We are excited about the possibility of you joining our team at Eastern Arizona College. Our program focuses on building school spirit through cheer, pom, and dance while fostering a positive and fun environment.

About Our Team:

We are a non-stunting Cheer and Pom team.
Team structure: A Pom team within the Cheer team.
Focus areas: Cheer, dance, pom, and sideline routines performed during basketball games.
Season: August–March. You must also be available to attend some volleyball and soccer games, though your primary commitment will be during basketball season.
Practices: Early mornings, Monday–Thursday, 5:45–7:15 AM.

Tryouts Details:

Dates:
Location: EAC Gymnasium
If you are unable to attend tryouts, you may submit a highlight video showcasing your skills in dance, pom, cheer, and sideline routines.

Requirements for Tryouts:

Complete all required paperwork.
Submit two letters of recommendation via email to Coach Jody at jody.judd@eac.edu.

Highlight Video (if unable to attend tryouts):

If you cannot attend tryouts, please send a highlight video demonstrating your skills. This will help us assess your abilities and determine team placement.

Key Notes:

We do not compete; our focus is on cheer and performances.
Placement will determine whether you join the cheer team, the pom team, or both.
